- INGREDIENTS
- 1 Tcup- Basmati Rice ( Soaked in water for
½ Hour)
3 Tcup- Water
2 Tsp- Salt
1 Tsp- Oil
1 Tsp- Lemon Juice
3 Tbsp- Oil
1 Tsp- Chopped Ginger
2 Nos- Finely Chopped Green Chillies
1 No- Onion ( Finely Chopped )
1 Tsp- Salt ( To Taste)
½ Tsp- Garam Masala Powder
½ Tsp- Red Chilli Powder
2 Tbsp- Chopped Coriander Leaves
1 Tcup- Pomegranate ( Hindi Term Anaar )
½ Tcup- Blanched Green Peas
½ Tcup- Bread Croutons ( Readymade or could be made by
frying small cubes of Bread in hot oil till golden brown)

- METHOD
- 1. Boil 3 Tcup Water with 2 Tsp salt,1 Tsp
lemon juice and 1Tsp oil.
2. Add rice and let it cook till it is ¾ th done.
3. Strain and cool well.
4. Heat oil in a Kadhai .Add chopped ginger and green chillies
to it.
5. Next add onions and sauté well.
6. Add rice and mix well.Add salt,garam masala and red chilli
powder.
7. Next add bread croutons,peas and pomegranate and mix well.
8. Check the seasoning and serve hot garnished with chopped coriander
leaves.
9. This should be served immediately otherwise the croutons would
become soggy.
