GARLIC AND TOMATO CHUTNEY
 
" Flavour of Tomato and Garlic in a Chutney is a Good Combination."
Serves 4
 
INGREDIENTS
15 Cloves- Peeled Garlic
3 Nos- Tomatoes ( Chopped )
3 Nos- Dry Red Chilli
1 inch-Ginger ( Chopped )
2 Tbsp- Chopped Coriander Leaves
1 Tsp- Salt ( To Taste )
1 Tsp- Red Chilli Powder
3 Tsp- Oil
A pinch- Asafoetida ( Hindi Term Hing )
1 Tsp- Mustard Seeds ( Hindi Term Rai )
Water ( If Needed )
 
METHOD
1. In a blender,blend tomatoes,whole red chilli,salt,red chilli powder and ginger.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add asafoetida to it.Add mustard seeds to it and let it crackle.
3. Add the blended puree to it and let it boil well.Add water if needed.
4. Check the seasoning and adjust accordingly.
5. Cool the chutney and serve with desired snacks.
