GAVARFALI KI SABZI
 
" A Dish made out of Cluster Beans."
 
Serves 4
 
INGREDIENTS
250 gms- Cluster Beans ( Hindi Term Gavarfali )
1 Tbsp- Gramflour ( Hindi Term Besan )
¾ Tcup- Curd
1 Tcup- Water
3 Tbsp- Oil
2 Nos- Bay Leaf
A pinch - Asafoetida
1 Tsp- Cumin Seeds
1 Tsp- Salt
1 Tsp- Turmeric Powder
2 Tsp- Coriander Powder
2 Tsp- Red Chilli Powder
2 Tbsp- Chopped Coriander Leaves
 
METHOD
 
1. Pressure Cook Cluster Beans for 1 Whistle in a Pressure Cooker.
Drain off the Water and remove the edges and sides of the Beans.
2. Make a Mixture of Besan,Curd and Water.
3. Heat Oil in a Kadhai and add Asafoetida,Cumin Seeds,Bay Leaf to it.
4. Next add the Cluster Beans to it and sauté well.
5. Add all the Indian Spices and mix well.
6. Add the Besan Mixture and boil the Sabzi well.Check the Seasoning and adjust accordingly.
7. Add Coriander Leaves and serve hot.
