GULABI KABABS
 
" Tiny Kababs with a Pink Coloured Filling."
 
Makes Approximately 30 Mini Balls.
 
INGREDIENTS
8 Pieces Medium Size Potatoes ( Boiled,Mashed )
1 No- Medium size Carrot ( Grated )
2 No- Green Chillies ( Finely Chopped )
1 Tbsp- Finely chopped Ginger
1 No- Onion ( Finely Chopped )
3 Tbsp- Chopped Coriander Leaves
1 Tsp- Salt ( To Taste )
1 Tsp- Chaat Masala
1 Tsp Each of Coriander Powder,Mango Powder,Red Chilli Powder
Juice of half Lemon
1 Tcup- Pomegranate ( Hindi Term Is Anaar )
4-5 Drops - Red Food Colour
Cornflour and Water Batter to dip the Kababs
Breadcrumbs for coating
Oil for deep frying
Accompaniment
Tamarind Chutney
 
METHOD
1.In a mixing bowl mix Potatoes,Carrots,Green Chilli,Ginger,Onion,Coriander Leaves,Salt,Indian Spices,Lemon Juice,Pomegranate and Food Colour.
2.Check the Seasoning and make Small Balls out of them.
3.Dip in Cornflour Batter,roll in Bread Crumbs and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.Drain well and serve hot with Tamarind Chutney.
