MANGODI CURRY

Serves 4
 
INGREDIENTS
250 gms- Small Mangodis
3 Tbsp- Oil
A pinch - Asafoetida
1 Tsp- Cumin Seeds
1 Tsp- Chopped Green Chillies
1 Tsp- Chopped Ginger
1 Tcup- Chopped Tomatoes
1 Tsp Each of Salt,Red Chilli Powder,Coriander Powder,Mango Powder
½ Tsp- Turmeric Powder
4 Tcup- Water
2 Tbsp- Chopped Coriander Leaves
 
METHOD
1. Heat Oil in a Pressure Cooker and add Asafoetida and Cumin Seeds to it.
2. Add Mangodi and fry well till it turns golden brown.
3. Add Tomatoes and sauté well.
4. Add all the Indian Spices and mix well.
5. Add Water and pressure cook for 2-3 Whistles.Add Water according to the consistency needed.
6. Add Coriander Leaves and mix well. Check the Seasoning and adjust accordingly.

Serve hot.
