- MANGO SUNRISE TARTS
" An Easy Way to transform Sandesh
to Tarts."
- Makes 10 Tarts of 7 cm Diameter

- INGREDIENTS
- Tarts
- 100 gms- Flour
50 gms- Butter
1 Tsp- Sugar
A Pinch- Salt
3-4 Tbsp- Water

- Thick Mango Puree
- ¼ Tcup- Medium Size Cubes of Mangoes
3 Tbsp- Water
1 Tsp- Sugar

- Tart Filling
- 8 Nos- Sandesh ( Plain,Without any Dominant
Flavour )
5 Tbsp- Finely Chopped Mango Pieces
3 Drops- Yellow Food Colour
2 Tsp- Sugar

- Garnish
Rose Petals
Pistachio ( Soaked in water,skin removed and then shredded finely
)
Small Cubes of Mango

- METHOD
- Tarts
- 1. Sieve flour and salt.Rub butter with finger
tips in it.Nect add sugar to it and gradually add water to it
to make a soft dough.Keep the dough in thr fridge for 20 minutes.
2. Roll out the dough and cut into round shape( Same size as
that of the Tart Case i.e 7 cm diameter ) with the help of a
Cookie Cutter.
3. Press them in greased tart cups and prick them with a fork.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degree celscius for 18-20
minutes till golden brown.
5. Take them out and cool them.

- Thick Mango Puree
- 1. In a Blender,blend all the ingredients
together to get a thick puree.

- Tart Sandesh Filling
- 1. In a bowl crumble the sandesh and gradually
add mango pieces to it.Beat little with a whisk till a smooth
mixture is obtained.
2. Add sugar to it and mix well.
3. Add colour and mix till creamy.Keep it in the fridge for 15
minutes.

- Assembling the Tart
- 1. To the tart first apply a bit of prepared
mango puree at base and also at the sides.
2. Fill the tart with sandesh filling.
3. Top it with mango puree and garnish it well with rose petals,pistachio
and small cubes of mangoes.Repeat for the remaining tarts also.
4. Serve immediately or you can also chill it in the fridge for
30 minute and then serve.
