SAADI KADHI
 
" Gramflour Curd Curry."
 
Serves 6
 
INGREDIENTS
1 Tcup- Curd
1 Tcup- Besan
1 ½ Tsp- Salt
1 Tsp- Turmeric Powder
2 Tcup- Water
Whisk the above mentioned Ingredients and keep aside.
 
2 Tbsp- Oil
A pinch- Asafoetida
1 Tsp- Aniseeds ( Hindi Term Sauf )
¼ Tsp- Fenugreek Seeds ( Hindi Term Methidana )
¼ Tsp- Mustard Seeds ( Hindi Term Rai )
¼ Tsp- Cumin Seeds
1 Tsp- Red Chilli Powder
3 Tcup- Water
Few Curry Leaves
 
Garnish
Chopped Coriander Leaves
 
METHOD
1. Heat Oil in a Kadhai and then add Sauf,Methidana,Rai,Curry Leaves,Cumin Seeds,Red Chilli Powder and Asafoetida.
2. When they all start to crackle,then add the prepared Curd Mixture to it and stir well.
See that no lumps are formed.
3. Add water and simmer well.
Adjust the Seasoning and serve hot garnished with Chopped Coriander Leaves.
 
You can also add Gramflour Pakodis to the Kadhi.
